Our team returned from the Athens campaign just over a week ago, having spent five full days there. Maybe you already saw, since we covered the campaign almost live on Instagram. Here are some of the highlights:
As planned, we visited our partner organisations on site, where we discussed the current situation and replenished our partners' supplies.
Among other things, we provided:
- new tyres and a tent for the MVI 'Mobile Clinic Van'
- 5,769 bars of soap from a Samos-based manufacturer and 11,688 sanitary pads for the Khora Free Shop.
- Diapers worth €1,000, as well as large quantities of coffee and tea, for the Community Café run by Glocal Roots.
- A year's supply of toilet paper and cleaning products for the Mazi Housing Project.
On behalf of our partner organisations, we would also like to thank you all for your support. Without it, none of this would have been possible.
The full campaign report will be available here soon. We are, of course, already collecting donations for our next campaign and our partners. Any support is appreciated!
