Demonstration on 16.02. Unter den Linden, Berlin – #mutigmenschlichmiteinander

A year ago, we stood hand in hand with 1300 organizations and jointly called for the large-scale demonstration #WirSindDieBrandmauer. 

The events of the last few weeks have once again made it clear what is at stake. In this election campaign, one taboo is being broken after another. Shortly before the general election, it is therefore all the more important to show what we stand against - hatred, hate speech and populism. 

While refugees are only talked about in the context of supposed threats, national isolation and increased deportations, we – of course – stand in solidarity with all people who have to leave their homes because of war, persecution or poverty.

For younger visitors, there will be a child-friendly programme from 14:00 to 14:30 entitled ‘Teach them young - democracy and cohesion know no age’
