CALL FOR CLOTHES DONATIONS
SUPPORT FOR SAMOS VOLUNTEERS
Our donation campaign is entering its last month, in the first week of March we will travel to Samos ourselves.
Our partner organisation Samos Volunteers informed us about an acute need of donations for their clothing distributions, which ensure that people on the move receive warm clothing and shoes. For this reason, we want to collect the following items of clothing over the next few weeks:
- MEN'S SHOES size 40-43
- HAND SHOES
- HATS
- SCARVES
For this purpose, there will be a collection point over the next few weeks in Berlin and Leipzig at the following locations:
BERLIN:
Thursday 16.02, 17-22h
KUCKUCKSZWEI, MARTIN-LUTHER-STR. 42
10779 BERLIN
Monday 27.02. 14-20h
SPÄTKAUF, CHORINER STR.12
10119 Berlin
LEIPZIG:

Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 132, 04277 Leipzig
(corner building Karl-Liebknecht-Str. / Richard-Lehmann-Str.)
Please only hand in clothes in good condition and only things that are actually needed.
Please share this appeal with friends, acquaintances or family. If you can't make it on the dates mentioned, please send us a message and we can find alternative dates.

What we do

General Support
We support selected partner organizations that actively provide assistance to refugees in Greece with products that they need in their day-to-day work.

Local Support
It is important to us that we buy all the products we provide to our partner organisations locally in order to support the struggling local societies.

Clothes Support
At regular intervals, we organise donations of clothes with partners, which we send to Greece by transport
Who we are
Project ELPIDA e.V. is a non-profit organization with the aim to support NGOs
Since we were founded in November 2021 we collect donations in order to buy products that our partner organisations need for their daily work. It is important for us to acquire these products locally instead of sending big shipments from Germany. By that, we want to support both displaced and local communities.
